YOGA CLASS ETIQUETTE

  • Please arrive at least 10 minutes prior to class.  This will give you enough time to sign in, put your items away/change your clothes if necessary, and relax before class begins.  We understand that sometimes we cannot always be early.  If you are entering class late, please be mindful to have your mat and any props ready and enter the yoga room silently to not disturb others.

  • Please leave your shoes at the door.  It helps us keep the studio clean. 

  • Parking meters are checked between 9 am - 6pm during weekdays so make sure to leave enough coins in your parking meter to last the duration of you visit.  Parking is free before 9 am and after 6 pm on weekdays, and is always free on weekends.  There are usually ample meters on W.10th near our Studio in the East Bank Flats 

  • Please be respectful of the volume of your conversations in the lobby and hallways and be mindful to keep your cell phones turned off or stored in the changing room. 

  • Read class descriptions and take the class that’s appropriate for your level of experience. You will enjoy your class more and maximize the benefits.

  • If you are new to a teacher, please introduce yourself and tell them about any injuries or special conditions  they should be aware.

  • Listen to your body. Pushing yourself beyond comfort and pain is not part of any yoga practice. 

  • Practice good hygiene and avoid wearing strong scents.  Regular cleaning of your mat and wearing fresh clothes to class is appreciated.

  • Writing your name on your mat and other items will help you identify it if you lose it or forget it in the studio.

  • Don't be afraid to quietly ask your yoga teacher for help if you have any trouble during class. A quick mention to the teacher can be the difference between having a horrible time and being comfortable enough to focus on your practice. 

  •  If you have to step out during class, make sure you keep the studio door closed to keep the classroom temperature regulated and keep out any outside noise.

  • If you have to walk about during class, try to avoid walking on other people’s mats

  • Savasana (Final Relaxation) is important to your yoga practice. If you must leave before savasana ends, please inform the teacher before class that you need to leave early and choose a space near the door for a quiet exit. 

  • Put all props back in their proper place after class.  If you’ve unfolded a blanket, please refold it and return it to its original place.

Payment must be provided at time of booking to reserve your appointment, service, workshop or class.
We have a 24-hour cancellation policy for all appointments, services, workshops, and classes.  
24-hours' notice must be provided when cancelling to prevent your card on file being charged. 

There is a 100% charge if cancellation notice is given with less than 24-hours' notice.
